Lost in the endless streets of america, part I

Brendan was walking down the streets, he had no idea where he was going or even what he was doing. Why did he left that place, okay he hated it but still it was warm there were some people that maybe cared a tiny bit for him and there was normal food.

Well he was able to see that now but he would never give in to that, there was no way he was going to crawl back like a little baby that lost his mother. He knew he was able to survive on the street he did it before right. Okay the times he did it before he had some friends who wanted the same, no school and a lot of partying. So the thing he need to do was just find some friends out here that could help him. The only thing was, he had nothing to offer to them in return. People out on the streets always wants something back in return.

He was slowly walking further away from the safest place he had ever known when he reached a train station, he had some money he wasn’t away for so long that he had no money left. He grabbed the first train back to his old town, not that he wanted to see his parents. Of course not but some of his old friend would help him right?

He stepped out of the train and started to walk again. His feet hurted but he kept going and going until he reached his old school where some of his old friends stood. But a lot of other people who he hated stood with them. He walked towards them when Dave, his oldest friend he had, walked towards him and hit him hard in the face.”Dude why would you do that?” Brendan asked, he had no idea what he had done wrong. “Dude what do you think? You left us, you finally had a good place to go, a place where they could offer you a future and now look at you. You probably walked away. Have you any idea how much I would do for a change you got? and you are to afraid so you run away, Brendan you are a coward. Did you knew that?”

Brendan had no idea what too say, he knew Dave was right, of course he was, he always was. He was the smartest of them all. “Dave I know you’re right, but now it’s all too late. So can you please help me?”

“It depends on with what” Dave replied.

“Too help me live my own life instead of the life others who want me too live.”

To be continued…
